BEST EXPERIENCE WITH THE BEST TOUR GUIDE Aka and his team were amazing. They were so welcoming, helpful, and kind. They made sure everything ran smoothly, and because of them my trip to Mongolia became truly unforgettable. Whenever we were unsure about anything, Aka explained it clearly and patiently. Personable, Trustworthy, Skilled & Safe I was honoured to travel with Aka! He is kind, patient, intelligent and highly skilled in the art of translation and tour guiding! I met Aka as my guide when I visited the North West of Mongolia! He is very trustworthy and made me feel safe at all times when. i travelled with him solo. He is local to this area - so he is the key to unlock a true experience in this area! Please make sure if you attend the Kazach area you have a local speaker - the language and local cultures and traditions are unique in Mongolia - so a guide from Ulaanbaatar unless skilled in this may have less skill in connection and translation! Aka also showed me incredible compassion when I was a little sick one day! When you are miles from home & feeling unwell - I was so grateful that Aka was there to help me! A remarkable trip to the Altai Mountains Truly a trip of a lifetime. We traveled for 12 days with Aka's team and were amazed by the beauty of the rugged Altai country, the warmth and deep connection with the landscape of our Kazakh hosts and guides, and the skill and strength of our horses and horsemen. We would highly reccomend that others hoping to experience an ancient mountain landscape and culture choose to go deeper and further with Mongolia Trekking Tours. Incredible Mongolia Adventure! Our group of three spent 12 days on a remarkable horseback, outdoor adventure through the Mongolian Altai mountains. The guides and horsemen built an incredible itinerary to suite our needs and timeline. Every family we met along the way was generous and welcoming as well. An Unforgettable Mongolian Adventure with Aka and Erka — Highly Recommended! We had such a wonderful 8 days with Aka. He was the only one that understood what we want immediatly and prepared the itinerary the way we wanted. It included climbing the Malchin peak, visiting the eagles hunters and nomad familes, and finally we got so much more. The cook was fantastic and the equipment was great starting with the car, tents, and kitchen tools. I had the chance to celebrate my birthday in that week, and Aka made it so special. Experience The last nomadic country at its peak! Is the clostest way to get the realness of Mongolian spirit. It was a true experience, we get the chance to live with and as the Nomads. We will never forget the effortless kindness if people, the wideness of spaces, the moving beauty of landscapes. An unforgettable experience For some years, together with my partner, we had wanted to visit Mongolia, living as much as possible in contact with the local people and crossing the territories on horseback. It took months to organize the itinerary, but Aka was able to make us experience exactly the trip of our dreams. Since we disembarked from the plane in Ulgii, he has always been with us and, together with his staff, he has always accompanied us ready to fulfill our every wish. We visited the Tavan Bogd National Park on horseback, riding along magnificent trails in the Altai Mountains. We were able to experience that sense of freedom that envelops you when you gallop freely in the Mongolian steppes. The driver, Aka's friend, transported us with his Toyota off-road vehicle along the longest stretches, driving with ease on incredible trails. Aka's sister always prepared delicious dishes for us, different every day. We were treated as if we were in a 5 star hotel, even though we slept in a tent. A few times we slept in the gers, made available by local families, who always gave us a warm welcome. The wranglers who drove the camels, with whom we shared part of the route, were also very pleasant and helpful company. Together with Aka we climbed the Malkin peak, crossed a pass over 3000 meters on horseback, forded deep rivers and rushing streams, galloped in the steppes alongside the herds of local shepherds, once even helping them round up the animals; we bathed in a lake at 2500 meters and we were introduced to an eagle hunter who made us experience the thrill of hunting with an eagle! We explored wonderful valleys, waterfalls and also visited the places that tell the ancient history of those lands. Mongolia is a harsh but wonderful land and Aka and his team allowed us to visit it safely, feeling like we were among friends. We are thinking of organizing a new trip to explore the northern part of the country and we already know that with them it will be an unforgettable experience, like the one this summer was.
